After finding that Quicken® or Quickbooks® were simply not what I was looking in finance management, I decided to develop my own system by which to organize my business income. It allows for the adding of clients, invoices, payments, and uses that information to calculate gross and net income for individual years or all years.
The tool also stores additional information about clients specific to your business. For example, mine stores FTP data, client contact information, links to databases and helps aggregate other pertinent things.
